Voodoo Lounge Miami is a tiki-themed lounge, nightclub and rooftop at 928 Ocean Drive in South Beach. It is open seven days a week until 5 AM, with a themed DJ party every night, a rooftop over Ocean Drive with ocean views, hookah, and a weekend brunch party. Doors open at 5 PM Monday to Thursday and 11 AM Friday to Sunday.

Voodoo rooftop

The rooftop is Voodoo’s main draw: an open-air lounge and restaurant directly above Ocean Drive, with ocean views. The rooftop restaurant runs as Carnaval Rooftop, and it adds a full program to the lounge:

• Friday and Saturday: a dinner-and-show experience from 8:30 to 11 PM, with live performers, cocktails and dinner.
• Sunday: a brunch party with a dance show from 1 to 3 PM.
• Friday to Sunday: bottomless brunch, with bottomless mimosas for $25 per person.
• Every night: cocktails all night and a late-night menu after 10 PM.

The rooftop’s own listing gives weeknight hours from 7 PM, so call ahead if you plan an early weekday visit to the roof. Expect a lot of stairs on the way up.

The rooftop menu is built around shareable plates, seafood and dishes for the table, with brunch on Friday to Sunday and dinner every night. The drinks menu covers tropical signature cocktails, champagne, wine and premium spirits, and late-night bites take over after 10 PM. Guest reviews praise the wings, the calamari and the strong drinks. Hookah comes in standard and more creative flavors, and the creative ones cost more.

Nightlife and parties

Voodoo throws a themed party every night of the week, with a rotating lineup of DJs through the year. Earlier in the evening, the rooftop works as a cocktail and dinner spot. Later, the energy moves to the DJ and the dance floor, and the club stays open until 5 AM.

Because it sits on the busiest block of Ocean Drive, Voodoo draws plenty of visitors and groups. It’s a good fit for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette groups, and anyone who wants rooftop drinks and a club in one stop.

Dress code and entry

Voodoo doesn’t publish a strict dress code. Smart-casual going-out clothes work for both the rooftop and the club. However, leave swimwear and beach flip-flops at the hotel after dark. Bring a valid photo ID, and plan on 21+ for the late-night club. If your group includes anyone under 21, call ahead to check the policy for brunch or dinner.

Getting there

Voodoo is at 928 Ocean Drive, on the main entertainment block of South Beach, a short walk from most hotels on Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. Walking or a rideshare is the easiest way in and out at night.
