ORA Nightclub is permanently closed. The club at 2000 Collins Ave in South Beach opened in March 2016 and served its last night in early April 2018, shortly after hosting a week of parties for Miami Music Week. Miami New Times reported the closure on April 10, 2018. This page is an archive of the former club, not a place to plan a night out.
What happened to ORA?
ORA closed after about two years. Managing partner Greg See told Miami New Times that the concept “wasn’t sustainable in Miami Beach at this time.” He added that the club’s popular second-floor room, the Anti Social Room, would move to a new location in the future. We have not found a later announcement of an ORA reopening at 2000 Collins Ave or anywhere else.
Some nightlife directories and booking sites still list ORA with hours, a guest list or table prices. Those listings are out of date, so don’t use them to plan a visit.
What ORA was
ORA opened in March 2016 with a clear goal: a refined, VIP-focused club for a crowd that wanted an elegant room instead of a packed South Beach megaclub. The team was made up of Miami Beach nightlife veterans, and co-owner Ryan Van Milligen described it as a missing link for the VIP crowd. The club won Best VIP Room in the Miami New Times Best of Miami awards in 2017.
The space at 2000 Collins Ave had a short nightlife history before ORA, too. Adoré, a club from Las Vegas nightlife operator Cy Waits, opened there and closed in 2014 after about four months.
Where was ORA?
ORA was at 2000 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, at the corner of 20th Street in South Beach. The address identifies the former club only.
