Nofar Method Miami is a Pilates studio on the second floor of 1370 Washington Avenue, close to Española Way in the Art Deco district. It teaches one class format, built around two machines. This guide covers what happens in that class, what it costs, and the rules that catch first-timers out.
Twenty-five minutes on the Reformer, twenty-five on the Cadillac
Every group class at Nofar Method Miami runs about 50 minutes. The studio splits that time evenly between two machines. The official services page describes 25 minutes on the Reformer and 25 minutes on the Cadillac, with props and small equipment throughout.
The pairing is unusual. The Reformer gives you a moving carriage and spring resistance for full-body work. The Cadillac is the taller frame with bars, springs and a trapeze, and most studios keep it for private sessions. Miami Living Magazine called that Cadillac work the thing that sets the class apart.
The studio explains its choices on its Why Nofar page. It says the Cadillac isolates muscles and builds spinal and hip mobility. It says the Reformer works the whole body against spring resistance. Expect a workout that mixes strength, cardio and alignment cues.
The red straps and the upside-down moment
The signature move here is inversion. Founder Nofar Hagag designed custom red straps in New York that attach to the Cadillac. Clients hang from them to decompress the spine and open the hips.
Miami Living reports that the straps hold upwards of 400 pounds. The magazine also describes the experience as approachable for beginners. Treat that as the magazine’s characterization, not a promise about your first class. The studio itself asks newcomers to prepare, as the next section explains.
Inversion is one part of the class, not the whole of it. Most of the 50 minutes is spring-based strength work, controlled movement and breathing. The studio’s own description of its approach says instructors adjust form during class.
Prices for single classes, packs and private sessions
The studio publishes its prices on the services page. A single group class costs $49. A five-class pack costs $225, and a ten-class pack costs $395. Packs expire after four months.
Private sessions cost more and offer more attention. A virtual private session costs $150 per hour. An in-studio private session costs $180 to $325 per hour. The studio asks you to email for an appointment rather than book online.
Groups can book a Pilates party for $750, for up to 12 people. That price covers a private group class in the studio with an instructor of your choice. Email the studio to arrange a date.
The studio cancellation rules affect what you really pay. The next section covers them.
Cancellation, late arrival and waitlist rules
The studio enforces its policies strictly. The Get Started and FAQ page sets a 24-hour cancellation rule. Cancel inside that window and the studio charges you for the class. Cancel earlier and the credit returns to your account. The policy allows no refunds.
Late arrivals face a firm rule. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you wait to join the second half. If you arrive after the machine switch, you cannot join at all, and the class counts as used.
Waitlists need a credit in your account. The studio says Mindbody will not add you automatically if you hold no available credit, so you could lose the spot. Joining a waitlist for one class while holding a booking for another on the same day can trigger charges for both.
What to wear and who can join a group class
Wear fitted workout clothing so instructors can see your alignment. The studio requires a shirt. It also requires grip socks on the machines.
The studio recommends that newcomers take at least 10 Pilates machine classes before their first Nofar Method class. That guidance matters if you are brand new to Pilates. A private session is the gentler route in.
Group classes require clients to be 18 or older. Sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds need an adult with them. Younger clients can book private one-on-one sessions. The studio offers no childcare.
New clients who are pregnant cannot join group classes. Regular clients with a doctor’s consent can continue through 28 weeks, except in Ninja Pilates. The studio recommends private sessions for the third trimester.
The room: Himalayan salt walls and Art Deco windows
The studio designs its rooms to feel like wellness spaces rather than gyms. Miami Living says the walls carry Himalayan pink salt stones for breathing and wellbeing. The studio’s own page says the ionized air infused with salt crystals can purify and rejuvenate. Treat that as the studio’s philosophy, not a medical claim.
The photos show a bright room with pale wood floors and tall mirrors. Peach-trimmed windows look out on trees. A salt-stone panel glows beside the Nofar Method wall sign. Reformers and Cadillac frames fill the floor.
There are no showers. The studio provides designated changing areas, open cubicles and shoe racks. It has no lockers and takes no responsibility for lost items. Plan to arrive dressed and leave your valuables at home.

How this studio fits Miami Beach’s fitness scene

The studio is also young in Miami. Miami Living reported its arrival in December 2025, after the New York studios in Flatiron and Tribeca. The founder taught Pilates in New York for ten years while attending medical school, per the same article. She also played Division I water polo.
The studio does not allow pets, with the exception of service animals that the studio pre-approves. Bring your grip socks and your booking confirmation, and leave the dog at home.
