Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a large oceanfront resort at 4441 Collins Ave in Mid-Beach, originally designed by architect Morris Lapidus. Unlike a smaller boutique hotel, the property itself carries much of the stay: multiple pools, direct beach access, Lapis Spa, a full fitness center, several restaurants and bars, and an on-property nightlife scene led by LIV Nightclub, all under one address.

For other options, see the best hotels in Miami Beach guide or the places to stay hub.

Pools, beach, and spa

Guests have access to multiple outdoor pools, direct beach access with complimentary beach and pool chairs, Lapis Spa, and a fitness center with daily group classes included in the resort fee.

Dining and nightlife

The property runs its dining and nightlife as a core part of the stay rather than an afterthought, anchored by LIV Nightclub on property, so a full evening — dinner, drinks, and late night — is possible without leaving the resort.

Resort fee, parking, and pet policy

A Hotel Fee of $53 plus tax per room, per night, applies and covers gym access with daily fitness classes, unlimited wireless internet in rooms and at the pools, 2 hours of complimentary bicycle use per day, 30 minutes of complimentary kayak or paddleboard use per day, one complimentary banana boat ride per day, beach and pool chairs, and Refresh Lounge access. Both valet and self-parking are available. Dogs are permitted in all rooms and suites for a $100 nonrefundable cleaning fee, up to 50 lbs, maximum two dogs per room; the hotel is non-smoking throughout.
