If you are planning a trip now, the two remaining major events in this guide are Miami Carnival in October and Art Basel Miami Beach in December. They are in different places: Carnival’s main parade is in Broward County, while Art Basel is in Miami Beach.

Miami Carnival — October 11, Broward County
The organizer’s 2026 calendar lists the Carnival Day Parade and Fete for Sunday, October 11. The event is at Central Broward Park & Broward County Stadium in Lauderhill, not on Miami Beach. Plan transportation from Miami Beach before buying tickets, and check the organizer for entry rules and the full festival schedule.
Art Basel Miami Beach — December 4–6
Art Basel’s official Miami Beach page lists public dates of December 4–6, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. VIP preview days are December 2–3. If you want the main fair, plan around the official public days; the wider Miami Art Week has separate fairs and events with their own schedules.
Earlier 2026 events: archive, not upcoming plans
Art Deco Weekend in January, the Miami International Boat Show and South Beach Wine & Food Festival in February, the Miami Open and Ultra Music Festival in March, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix in May, and FIFA World Cup matches in the summer have passed. Older articles about them may still help you understand the venues and the style of each event, but their 2026 tickets and schedules are no longer current.
