Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 runs Dec. 4–6 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive, with 272 exhibitors and a redesigned fair floor. The organizer’s visitor information lists public hours of 11 a.m.–6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Dec. 2–3 are invitation-only VIP Preview Days, not general-admission days.
What changes on the 2026 fair floor
Art Basel’s Sept. 29 announcement says the fair will use about 12% less space than before and organize the floor around four hospitality plazas instead of five. The main Galleries sector has 204 exhibitors, down from 226 last year, as The Art Newspaper reports. Organizers intend the new arrangement to open sightlines and spread major galleries across the venue. Whether that makes a visit easier will become clear when the show opens.
How the 272 exhibitors add up
The Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 total is 272 distinct exhibitors from more than 40 countries and territories. Art Basel counts 254 galleries in its four main sectors and 22 galleries and platforms in Zero 10, its digital-art program; four appear in both groups, so the figures should not be added as separate exhibitors. More than 30 galleries are taking part for the first time. Visitors interested in newer work can look to Nova and Positions, while Zero 10 will present 19 projects.
Free art outside the ticketed fair
Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 includes two outdoor programs free to the public. The Turrell Art Foundation and Art Basel plan to present new work by James Turrell outdoors; the organizer has not yet published its exact location or hours. Public Art Fund’s Between Tides will bring six artist-designed, playable ping-pong tables to Collins Park. These outdoor programs have separate details from the ticketed convention-center fair, so check the organizer’s updates closer to December.
Admission to the indoor fair requires a ticket or invitation. Use Art Basel’s official ticket shop for current passes and prices. For a sector-by-sector visit plan, read our Art Basel Miami Beach 2026 guide. For other events still ahead this year, see our updated 2026 Miami events guide.
