Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 4–6, 2026, at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Public hours are 11 a.m.–6 p.m. each day. December 2–3 are invitation-only preview days, so a regular ticket does not grant access on those dates. This guide covers the main fair; nearby Miami Art Week events have separate schedules and admission.

What to see inside
Art Basel’s 2026 plan includes a reconfigured showfloor and 272 exhibitors across its gallery and digital presentations. Start with Galleries if you want a broad survey of modern and contemporary work. Nova focuses on newer work, Positions on solo projects by emerging artists, and Survey on historically focused presentations. Kabinett is a set of focused displays within Galleries, not a separate fair. Zero 10 presents digital-era art. The official Miami Beach show page is the source for the current floor plan and participating galleries.
If you have only a few hours, pick two or three sectors before arriving rather than trying to cover every aisle. Art Basel has also announced free public projects outdoors, including a James Turrell presentation and a participatory installation in Collins Park; check the organizer’s final locations and access details before making either a separate stop.
Tickets and getting there
Buy admission through the organizer’s ticket link. Ticket types and prices can change; the 2025 prices previously listed on this page do not apply to 2026. Guided tours are an optional separate purchase, and Art Basel says a tour booking does not include fair admission.
The convention center is near 17th Street and Washington Avenue. The City of Miami Beach’s getting-around guide lists the free trolley and nearby public parking. Art Week traffic can change travel times, so allow extra time and check the city’s current transport notice closer to December. For a longer trip, browse our Miami Beach hotel directory and local guides.
Art Basel versus Miami Art Week
Art Basel is the ticketed fair inside the convention center. Miami Art Week is the wider set of independent fairs, gallery shows and public art around the area. An Art Basel ticket should not be assumed to cover a satellite event. Check each organizer’s date, venue and admission separately. Our 2026 events guide places the fair in the wider seasonal calendar.
